Time flies

1 month until we leave...man how time flies..But i'm SO excited!! But also sad. (it's a mix of emotions) I'm going to miss so many people..Life is busy right now in our family, with Africa and boot camp. I have to keep reminding myself, that this is God's plan for us. I find myself worrying a lot, about big things and little things. I mean we are moving to Africa! That's a whole other country! Another continent! But i remind myself that God's plans are greater then mine could ever be. The past few months i've been telling people of our (and mine) life plans, and yes i've been called crazy, and have gotten weird looks..But i just smile and saw "I know i'm crazy..FOR GOD!" and i get weird looks for that answer too...But i don't care :) It's what God is calling me to do, and no weird look will stop that :D One of my favorite quotes is 'Every knee will bow, every tongue will shout. "Jesus is the Lord, Jesus is the Lord"' And i want to say that i was apart of that! Even if i led 1 person to Christ, that's 1 more person who is welcomed to the Kingdom! Here is a great story, that inspired me and my family

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work. One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up. As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean. He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?" The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean." "I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man. To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die." Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!" At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."

There are 143 million children in this world that are orphans. 53.1 million live in Africa. Because of the LRA and HIV/AIDS there are over 2.5 million orphans in Uganda. Maybe I can't reach out to all of them, but if i only make a difference to 1, then i know i've done my part.

Now is that doesn't break your heart, i don't know what will (you should probably go to the doctors and make sure you have one) Now why don't they deserve to know about Christ as much as we do? God says to 'Go!' not 'Why don't you stay in you warm little house, and let all these little children die and go to hell.'
